LORRAINE NEAL It is with sadness that the family of Lorraine Neal announces her passing on January 11, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre. Lorraine was born on September 15, 1923 in Glenboro, Manitoba to William and Alexandria McNamee. Along with her sister Marjorie (Marj) and brother Keith, Lorraine grew up in Crystal City, and she later moved to Winnipeg with Marj, where she met Ken Neal. Lorraine and Ken were married on July 22, 1944, and soon became residents of Fort Garry, where they resided for over fifty years. Lorraine was an avid bowler at Fort Garry Lanes, and was a fan of most sports, including hockey, football, and baseball, and she especially liked following the Blue Jays every year. Many happy summers were spent with family at Pye's Landing on Lake of the Woods. Lorraine was predeceased by her son Gordon in 1960 and her husband Ken in 2006. Lorraine will be missed by son K.C. and wife Harriet, and grandchildren Jamie and Matthew, as well as many other relatives and friends. A private memorial service will take place.
